In Esbjörke, the young man Olof Jönsson confesses to stealing thirty-seven apples from the garden of the county magistrate’s widow, Ellika Bengtsdotter. Sven Jönsson in Borgeby witnessed the incident. Olof claims that the boy Olof Toresson in Östanbjörke was also involved in the theft. However, Olof Jönsson cannot pay a fine because he was detained in handcuffs for a while to correct his behavior. 1684 vt 86
