Notes for Anders Tronsen
Anders Tronsen, born in Bøe on Engeløya in Steigen, was the son of Trond Persen. All his children, except for the last one, Berrete, were born on Brunes, Engeløya in Steigen. Berrete, however, was born on Skagstad, Engeløy in Steigen.
In the 1665 registration of Helge and Salten, Anders Troensen is listed as 14 years old, while his father, Trond Persen, is recorded as 42 years old.
In the subsequent census of 1701, Anders and Maren still reside on Brunes, so the reason for Berrete’s birth on Skagstad remains uncertain. In 1707, Anders and Maren are still living on Brunes, Engeløy.
Therefore, it is believed that sometime between 1708 and 1719, they relocated to Rørvik in Hamarøy, where Anders passed away in 1719.
