In 1763, he was appointed as a house preacher at the national council Törnflykt. He was born on May 22, 1763, and took the Exam Sacerdodate in Stockholm City Consistory on May 1, 1764. He was ordained to preside over the parishes of Riddarholmen and Bromma for two years. He received his pastoral degree from Uppsala University on June 12, 1766.

On May 1, 1776, he was appointed as a pastor in the Jämshög and Näsum parishes in Lund diocese. He was further promoted to pastor in these parishes on June 16, 1779.
At the jubilee party in 1793, he was succeeded by Duke Carl of Södermanland, who later became King Carl XIII. On behalf of the Major, he was awarded the title of Theology Doctor and dignity.
He published several works in the press. He submitted an answer to the question posed by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences: “What can be the cause of the common disease that often prevails in certain places?” His answer was rewarded with the academy’s gold medal, inscribed with the words “Ditabit fructitus Avum.”
