Notes for Peter Jens Håkan Schleimann-Jensen
Jens Schliemann-Jensen, a trained architect at Chalmers, is a photographer and writer. His notable works include a book about his maternal grandfather, Gösta Bengtsson, titled “en enkel till Tahiti,” and a Swedish TV program with the same name, which chronicles Gösta’s life in Tahiti.

Jens’s regular reports on the suburb of Hammarkullen have brought him widespread recognition. He has authored several books featuring text and picture stories about suburban life.
In addition to his work on the Volvo, Jens has also written about the work at Volvo Torslandaverken in “Dom kallar oss bilbyggare – a story about work and workers at Volvo Torslandaverken.” His exhibitions have taken him to prestigious venues such as the Swedish Museum of Architecture in Stockholm, the Moma in New York, and the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg.
