Notes for Carl Axel Malkolm* (Spouse 1)
Malkolm embarked on a maritime adventure in 1890. By 1895, after successfully completing the helmsman’s course, Malkolm had risen to the rank of sea captain. During this period, Malkolm held prestigious positions as the master of the steamships Rumina, Dodona, and Faunus.

In 1910, Malkolm’s expertise was recognised when appointed as the Ombudsman for the Swedish Ship Officer in Gothenburg. Later, in 1911, Malcolm’s contributions extended to chambers at Lindholms Mekaniska Verkstad, also located in Gothenburg.
