Notes for Hans Henrik Kristensen
Hans worked for his father’s company, H. H. Kristensen AB, in Gothenburg from 1935 to 1939. During this time, he lived in Germany, England, Scotland, and the United States. In April 1939, at the age of 26, he left for the United States, traveling on the Drottningholm and arriving in New York on April 11, 1939.
In 1942, Hans attended the War College and was promoted to captain in the Artillery in 1943. He served as an assistant military attaché in London from 1946 to 1947 and later headed a department within the Defence Staff’s foreign department in 1948.
Hans returned to H. H. Kristensen AB in 1952.
