Notes for Hans * Axel William (Spouse 1)
Hans went to sea in 1945, listed as Assistant Waiter, on the “Crew manifest” on the vessel Drottningholm. Hans arrived in New York on 20 August 1945.

Hans was a member of the W6: Masonic Lodge, something he was for 68 years! He served as Vice President, but also as the Speaker. He probably is best known as the lead singer and participant in many of the spex/revues performed on stage at Bellmansgatan.

A note from his mother’s family album

I Juli 1926 kom Hasse sist i raden
just i dag han som är bäst i lagen
de försöka klara hyrkan
då det gäler skriva Tyskan
i den fruktade examen
Vag han ska bli i livet
inte stjärnorna står skrivet.
