Newspaper clipping: "In Sunne Church, Staff Sergeant Jörgen Kristensen of the Södermanland air wing, Nyköping, and Miss Eva Norbäck, daughter of retired Crown Forester Julius Norbäck and his wife, Sunne, Sweden, were married. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s confirmation teacher, Assistant Vicar Vikt. E. Källström, a retired primary school teacher and riding instructor, accompanied the couple with organ music. Prior to the ceremony, Miss Sigrid Olson performed “Till Österland vill jag fara,” and after the service, “To man man vaere” was sung. The best man was Lieut. Bo Kristensen, and the best woman was Olle Nyman, both from Skövde, aviation brigades, Nyköping. Following the wedding, the close family and friends were invited to dinner at Hotel Gästis, where speeches of best wishes were delivered by the groom’s father’s lawyer, W. Kristensen, from Gothenburg, and the hardware manager, E. M. Eriksson, from Sunne, and Assistant Vicar Rydinge, among others.

- F9 Göta Air Force Group, Säve, Gothenburg (5/11/1946 - 28/2/1947)

Tragically, Jörgen emerged as the sole survivor when an ammunition depot explosion occurred within F6, Karlsborg.

Following the conclusion of World War II, Jörgen embarked on a career within the airline industry. His initial employment commenced with Nordiskt Missionsflyg (NMF) in Stockholm, marking the genesis of group-packaged tours to southern Europe and northern Africa.

During the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s, Jörgen held the position of Sales Manager at Blidberg Metcalfe AB, Stockholm, where he served as the agent for both the Icelandic airline Loftleiðir and the Norwegian airline Braathen SAFE.

In the 1960s, Jörgen assumed the role of Sales Manager in Stockholm for Tjäreborg Resor and Stirling Airlines A/S.

In 1968, Jörgen returned to Gothenburg, where he continued his professional journey until his retirement in 1985, when he held the position of Western District Sales Manager for Air France.

Jörgen was an avid reader and embarked on extensive global travels, including excursions to South and North America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia.

In her late teens, Eva engaged in various sports and was awarded numerous accolades in athletics, gymnastics, and skiing.

During World War II, Eva dedicated herself to serving as a nurse at Torsby Hospital, situated near the Norwegian border.

In 1943, Eva relocated to Nyköping, Sweden.
